The last time three executions occurred on a single day was January 7, 2010, when Louisiana, Ohio, and Texas executed inmates. A similar three-execution schedule in 2018 collapsed after a stay was granted in Texas and prison staff in Alabama encountered issues establishing an intravenous line.

Oklahoma: Carlos Cuesta-Rodriguez
Carlos Cuesta-Rodriguez, 70, died by lethal injection at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester at 10:13 a.m. CDT. He was the third inmate put to death in Oklahoma this year.
